Rory started in the mid sixties Irish showband scene. In 1967 he went professionell with the Band TASTE,
who came just right to the British Bluesrock Boom.
The TASTE members where some of the best Irish musicians, like the drummer JOHN WILSON
(ex- THEM, pre STUD) shure one of the best Rock drummers around and CHARLIE McKRACKEN on bass.
The group lasted 4 years and released 3 great studio LPs and 2 Live albums too,
before they had some misunderstandings.
Rory started his Solo career in 1971 and was immediatley successful again.
He gave great Live performances..only with small amplifiers.. unbelievable for the time,
when everybody needed big Marshall's or Orange amplifiers... but for such a good guitar player
the small equipment was enough.
